On 1 June Russia celebrated tragic anniversary: 66 years ago British troops in Austrian town Lienz delivered up captured Russian White Cossacks to the Stalin’s red army. Several thousands of them were tortured and then died in communistic concentration camps. Mourning masses were served in Moscow and other Russian cities. Vice-Commander of RIU-O Sir Dmitry Sysuev empathized, that “the Russian Cossacks gave us an example how it is necessary to serve to the Thuth.” Also mourning masses were served in the Russian emigration, including the United States.
In Petrozavodsk, an administrative centre of Russian Karelia, exhibition dedicated to Empress Maria Feodorovna, a wife of the Emperor Alexander III, was opened. The exposition includes several masterpieces painted personally by the Empress.

In Saint Petersburg a new memorial to the victims of Stalin’s repressions was opened. The monument is dedicated to the memory of Catholics who were the victims of the repressions and was opened at the place of former Catholic cemetery, destroyed by the communists.
On 10 June the Russian Imperial Union-Order in the USA participated in organisation of the charitable ball on occasion of 85th anniversary of the British Queen Elizabeth II.

Two times during the month chairman of the Moscow Department of the RIU-O Mr Anton Liubich participated at talk show “The National Interest” at the “Russia 1” TV Channel. For the first time the talk show was dedicated to the problems of education, and for the second time to the problem Russia’s image. Mr Liubich engaged in polemics with the leader of liberal democrats and Vice-Chairman of the State Duma Mr Vladimir Zhirinovsky.
On 20 June in Moscow a conference “The State and the Society in the opinion of the Patriots” was organised. Participants emphasized the main risks of the patriotic, including monarchical, movement. The main risk is desire of some leaders to betray the ideas for ability to cooperate with the authorities. Also it was mentioned that the restoration of true monarchy shall change many aspects of current internal policy of the Russian State.
