The Legitimist site was established on 28 July 2005 by several enthusiasts-legitimists from Central Russia. From October 2005 to December 2010 it was an official site of the Chancellery of the Commander of the RIU-O. Then it was decided to reorganise the site to the news agency.
New version of the Legitimist site began to work on 15 March 2011. Now the site regularly informs its readers about top news of the Russian life as well as about activity of the Russian Imperial House and Russian monarchists’ organisations in the Russian, English, and German languages.
